Joseph Kemp
Joiner
Joe joined Precision Made Joinery after studying Joinery at West Suffolk College, having decided he wanted a practical career where he could work with his hands. He quickly found that joinery was the trade for him and progressed through his studies before continuing his development at PMJ. In August 2026, Joseph proudly completed his Level 2 Joinery qualification with a distinction, a fantastic achievement and one the whole team is proud of. Alongside his joinery work, he also assists with spraying and continues to build his skills across the workshop.
Your favourite PMJ moment?
What’s the part / day of your working week you look forward to most?
Now that he has finished college, Joe particularly enjoys having his full working week at PMJ — no more fitting college around work or trying to make up time!
Away from the workshop…
What do you enjoy getting up to outside PMJ?
Joe enjoys getting out on the golf course and regularly takes part in competitions.
Your secret superpower?
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?
Joe would choose the ability to time travel — both backwards and forwards. He would particularly love the chance to go back and see what life was really like during wartime. His superhero of choice would be Spider-Man.
