Joshua Boggis
Spray Technician
Josh brings a wonderfully varied background to the Precision Made Joinery workshop. He started out in antique restoration alongside his brother at 16, where he had the opportunity to work on some very special projects, including props for the Harry Potter Studios. He later moved into specialist kitchen work before joining PMJ, looking for a change of scenery and the chance to broaden his skills across a wider variety of joinery projects. Today, Josh is our lead spray technician and plays an important role in bringing each piece to its final finish. He is also one of our trained First Aiders.
Your favourite PMJ moment?
What’s the part / day of your working week you look forward to most?
Wednesday is Josh’s favourite day of the week, right in the middle, with the weekend still in sight! As our lead spray technician, he takes real pride in the final stage of every project. His work is the last step before a piece is seen by the client, so he knows how important it is to get every finish looking just right.
Away from the workshop…
What do you enjoy getting up to outside PMJ?
It’s all about football for Josh, whether he is watching it or playing it. Outside of football, he enjoys spending time with his family and getting out for walks with his three dogs.
Your secret superpower?
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?
Spider-Man would be his superhero of choice, but when it comes to superpowers, Josh would choose the speed of Speedy Gonzales, getting everything done in record time!
