Nathan first found his way into joinery at college, where it was the practical option that suited him best, and nine years later, he’s still enjoying it! A hands-on learner who didn’t fancy the A-level route, Nathan began his career working mainly with MDF before joining Precision Made Joinery. He particularly enjoys the variety at PMJ, from the different styles of joinery to the range of materials he gets to work with. For Nathan, one of the best parts of the job is taking something from scratch and seeing it become a finished project.

What’s the part / day of your working week you look forward to most?
There isn’t one particular day or moment, Nathan enjoys the consistency and routine of being at PMJ and knowing what each day brings.
Away from the workshop…
What do you enjoy getting up to outside PMJ?
Nathan enjoys spending time with his daughter and family, with weekends usually being about switching off, relaxing and spending time together.
Your secret superpower?
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?
Time travel, the chance to go anywhere in time would certainly open up a few possibilities! His superhero of choice would be Spider-Man.
