Project Overview
When our clients began extending their home, they wanted more than simply a new kitchen — they wanted a space that would become the heart of family life.
Working closely with both our clients and their contractor, we refined the design as the build progressed, creating a bespoke kitchen that feels perfectly connected to both the new extension and the character of the original home.
Handcrafted in our Suffolk workshop from tulipwood and finished with elegant quartz worktops, the result is a timeless kitchen designed for everyday living.

The Brief
The aim was to transform an enclosed kitchen into a light-filled, open-plan space that balanced practicality with understated design.
Key priorities included:
- Maximising storage without overwhelming the room
- Creating a sociable space for family and entertaining
- Respecting the character of the original property
- Delivering a timeless design built to last.

The Solution
As the extension evolved, so did the kitchen design.
A handcrafted curved peninsula became the focal point of the room, providing generous storage while maintaining an open, flowing layout. Existing structural features, including the service riser, were carefully incorporated into the design to preserve the proportions and character of the original building.
Every cabinet was handcrafted, professionally spray finished in-house and completed with quartz worktops and carefully selected hardware.

The Result
The finished kitchen is calm, elegant and designed around the way our clients live.
Thoughtful detailing, clever storage and handcrafted cabinetry combine to create a space that works beautifully every day while remaining sympathetic to the character of the home.
This project perfectly reflects our collaborative approach — working closely with our clients from concept through to installation to create truly bespoke joinery.
