Crafted Responsibly. Built To Last.
At Precision Made Joinery, we believe beautiful craftsmanship and responsible manufacturing should go hand in hand. From sustainably sourced timber to reducing workshop waste, we continually look for ways to minimise environmental impact while creating joinery designed to stand the test of time.
Sustainably Sourced Materials
We carefully select high-quality timbers from responsible suppliers, including sustainably managed FSC® certified sources wherever possible.
As proud manufacturers of Accoya® products, we also work with one of the world’s leading high-performance and sustainably sourced timber solutions. Made from fast-growing, responsibly sourced timber and enhanced through a non-toxic modification process, Accoya offers exceptional durability, stability and longevity without compromising the natural beauty of wood.
Unlike traditional timber, Accoya is highly resistant to swelling, shrinking and warping, helping windows, doors and external joinery retain their appearance and performance for decades. Its outstanding durability means less maintenance, fewer repairs and less frequent replacement — reducing both lifetime costs and environmental impact.
By designing products built to last for generations rather than years, we believe quality craftsmanship itself plays an important role in reducing unnecessary waste. Combining premium materials with skilled manufacturing allows us to create bespoke joinery that not only performs exceptionally today, but continues to do so long into the future.

Responsible Finishing Processes
Our in-house paint spray booth uses high-quality water-based coatings wherever suitable, helping to reduce solvent emissions while still achieving the exceptional finish Precision Made Joinery is known for.
Water-based paints provide excellent durability, colour retention and a beautiful finish with lower levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) than many traditional solvent-based alternatives. Combined with our carefully prepared timber and controlled spray finishing process, they help create joinery that is both beautiful and built to last.
Turning Waste Into Sustainable Fuel
As part of our ongoing commitment to reducing waste, the clean sawdust and timber byproducts created within our workshop are repurposed into eco wood briquettes.
Rather than sending usable timber waste to landfill, these briquettes are compressed into an efficient, low-waste fuel source which we not only supply to customers, but also use ourselves within the workshop to help heat our premises throughout the colder months.
Ideal for log burners, stoves, chimineas and outdoor fire pits alike, they offer a cleaner-burning and more environmentally responsible alternative to traditional fuels, while helping us make the very most of the materials used within our manufacturing process.
Made from compressed untreated wood waste with no chemical additives or binders, our briquettes provide a reliable, longer-lasting burn, perfect for keeping cosy indoors during winter or enjoying outdoor entertaining around the fire pit on summer evenings.
Eco Wood Briquettes
Our Ready-to-Burn certified wood briquettes offer an efficient, eco-friendly alternative to traditional logs, helping reduce waste and emissions.

Handmade Locally In Suffolk
All of our joinery is handcrafted from our Suffolk workshop by our experienced in-house team.
Working locally allows us to maintain quality control, reduce unnecessary transportation and support skilled British craftsmanship while creating bespoke products tailored specifically to each project.
Preserving Traditional Craftsmanship & Buildings
We are proud to work on heritage and listed properties, helping restore and preserve traditional timber features for future generations.
Repairing, replicating and replacing joinery sympathetically not only protects architectural character, but also supports a more sustainable approach to building conservation.
Sustainability Is An Ongoing Journey
At Precision Made Joinery, sustainability isn’t a single initiative, it’s considered throughout every stage of our business, from the materials we source to the way we design, manufacture and finish our bespoke joinery.
From responsibly sourced timber and water-based spray finishing to producing eco wood briquettes from our own workshop waste, we’re continually looking for practical ways to reduce our environmental impact while creating joinery built to last for generations.
